Program Terms & Conditions

Registration

By registering for a Kung Pow Kings Hockey program, you agree to these terms and conditions. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the program start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days are subject to a 50% administration fee. No refunds will be issued after the program has commenced. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. KPK reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrolment, in which case full refunds will be issued.

Installment Payments (Packages)

Selected package programs may be paid in two equal installments. This option is shown at checkout only for eligible packages; all other programs are payable in full at registration.

When you choose installments, 50% of the total is charged at registration and the remaining 50% is automatically charged to the same card on the date shown at checkout (for the 2026-27 fall/winter season, 22 August 2026). There is no additional fee for paying in installments.

By selecting installments you authorize KPK to securely store your card with our payment processor (Stripe) and to automatically charge the remaining balance on the scheduled date. Your card details are held by Stripe, not by KPK.

If the scheduled charge fails, Stripe will automatically retry and email you to update your payment details. Your child's place is retained while payment is being resolved. Cancellations and refunds follow the Cancellation & Refunds section above.

Attendance & Make-Up Lessons

Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. No make-up lessons will be provided for no-shows or absences due to travel. Each participant is entitled to a maximum of two (2) make-up lessons per program, available only with a valid doctor's note or official school notice. Make-up requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

Liability & Insurance

Parents/guardians acknowledge that ice hockey, floorball, and inline hockey are physical sports with inherent risks. KPK maintains appropriate insurance but is not liable for injuries arising from normal participation. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is medically fit to participate.

Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, and guardians are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect for coaches, officials, and fellow players. KPK reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive or dangerous, without refund.

Equipment

Participants must wear full protective equipment as required for their sport. KPK can provide basic equipment for introductory sessions, but participants in ongoing programs are expected to have their own equipment. Equipment requirements will be communicated prior to the program start.
