Kung Pow Kings Hockey proudly presents our specialized Rep Team Training Program. For 2023-24, this is for U9 and U11 players. **THIS PROGRAM IS BY INVITATION ONLY AFTER COACHING EVALUATION** While our training sets the bar high, we firmly believe in inclusivity and embrace players evaluated by our senior coaches through the previous year. This program is designed to help players take the next step in their game. At Kung Pow Kings Hockey, in ALL our programs, we are more than just a hockey club – we are a hockey family. Our team of dedicated coaches, with extensive experience both on and off the ice, share a common goal: to nurture young athletes and inspire them to become not only skilled hockey players but also exceptional individuals. They employ innovative training techniques, ensuring that each player receives top-notch guidance tailored to their unique strengths and areas for improvement. Skill Mastery: Our program focuses on developing essential hockey skills, including skating technique, stickhandling, passing, shooting, and defensive strategies. Players will sharpen their abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment. Tactical play: Hockey is a chess match on ice, and we help players master the art of strategic play. From power plays to penalty kills, our tactical training sessions give our Kings a competitive edge on the rink. Mental Resilience: The Kung Pow Kings believe that a strong mind is as vital as strong muscles. Through mental resilience training, players develop the confidence and focus needed to excel in high-pressure situations. Team Unity: We foster a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork among our players. Our team-building activities create lasting bonds that extend beyond the ice, making us a close-knit hockey family. Showcase Tournaments: As part of our training program, players have the opportunity to participate in showcase tournaments where they can put their skills to the test against other talented teams, gaining valuable exposure and experience.
